Why knitted cotton rather than printed fleece
Most custom blankets are fleece with a photo or design printed on the surface. Ours are knitted, so the pattern is structural. Three practical differences: it reads the same from both sides, it survives repeated washing because there is no transfer layer to peel, and organic cotton softens with each wash instead of pilling. It is also breathable, which matters if you are in a warm climate and worried a knitted blanket will be too hot.
